Prop Arden David has been playing for Marist St Pats Premiers since 2004, making his debut against Johnsonville. He was raised a Wellingtonian, with his earliest rugby memory being the time he played at Titahi Bay. He was only four at the time! Later, he attended Wellington College, where he was a member of their illustrious first XV.

Arden is not only known around Wellington club circles but has also caught the eye of the national rugby hierarchy. He lists his most memorable rugby moment as playing for the New Zealand Under-21 side. With his outstanding form for MSP we are sure that it is only a matter of time before he pushes for higher honours again. With a bit of luck he may even go on to emulate the career of his rugby hero, All Black legend Michael Jones.

Off the field Arden enjoys playing golf and is also into bodybuilding. He enjoys nothing more than tucking into a good meal of palusami and taro.

Marist St Pats have made a solid start to the 2007 season, and we wish Arden and all of the team the best for the rest of the year.
