RobLawMax Labour Hire Player Profile: Dylan Hayes (HOBM)

Dylan Hayes gets a pass away in the Jubilee Cup against Ories last year

In association with our partners RobLawMax Labour Hire, we'll be running regular player profiles this season, showcasing many of the young up and coming players and some of the more established players in Wellington Premier club rugby.

This year's first profile is Hutt Old Boys Marist loose forward Dylan Hayes, returning for his second season with the Eagles in 2014. Dylan, who was brought up in Marlborough and has also played as a representative softballer, was a key member of the St Pat's Silverstream First XV that beat Wellington College 6-3 in the Wellington Premier 1 college Final in 2012. He made his debut for HOBM at the start of last year's Swindale Shield and played most of the season, including in the remarkable 27-30 semi-final loss to Ories.

Dylan's name is Whispers because he's a man of few words amongst an experienced forward pack, but like his teammates he will hope to let his rugby do the talking when HOBM lines up against defending champions Tawa in the season opener this Saturday at Lyndhurst Park, kick-off 3.00 pm
